Hebrews 11:30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days. 31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.

Rahab was included in the list of people who had faith. It was by faith that she made the spies take an oath to save her and her family. It was by faith that she tied the scarlet chord in her window so no harm would come to those inside.

As soon as the spies left, she sprang into action. She did not know how long it would be before the army came to destroy Jericho, she only knew she had 3 days. At least 3 days to get her family and their families into her house and sit tight. She knew nothing of the 7-day march around Jericho. There were no secret messages sent to her. She did not receive a dream or a vision concerning the events to come. She only had the oath and instructions of the spies she helped. She knew the only way to keep her family alive was to get them into her house and keep them there until the battle was over.

And she was successful. Everyone was accounted for. That is great faith. (Story can be found in Joshua 2 & Joshua 6) -SAF
